Sie hat mit italienischen Auteurs von Luca Guadagnino bis Nanni Moretti gedreht. Auch für ihre Schwester Alice stand sie vor der Kamera, zuletzt in »La chimera«. Morgan Neville, 1967 geboren, konnte der Produzent, Regisseur und Autor für seinen Dokumentarfilm über Background-Singer, »20 Feet from Stardom«, 2014 einen Oscar gewinnen. Auch sein »Best of Enemies« über die Debatten von Gore Vidal und William F. Buckley schaffte es 2016 auf die Shortlist.

"The Baron" could have been a fascinating and touching character. But the director Rainer Sarnet cheated and betrayed the concept we both had agreed on after my first denial. Cowardly and awkwardly he retreated to his first and denied draft and cut out and destroyed as much as possible of a beautiful performance... very sad.
